Die Form der Stille.

Die Stille hat eine sehr konkrete Gestalt,
eine Form, die erfahrbar ist und sichtbar.
Sie ist eine Qualität der Harmonie.

Schwarz und Weiß zeichnen eine Wüste, in der Spiritualität zum Ausdruck kommt. Sie besetzen die Pole zwischen den Ereignissen der Wirklichkeit. Dort berühren wir die Essenz der Dinge. Das Karge und das Edle. Lass dir von Niemandem erzählen was schwarz ist und was weiß. Es ist dein eigenes mentales Abenteuer…

Das, was ich tue, ist eigentlich ein Versuch, mit der Materie zu sprechen. Unter diesen Umständen kann ich sie nicht einfach zum Baumaterial eines Kunstwerkes erklären. Irgendwie wird sie zum Partner, zum mitwirkenden Urheber. Wie in jedem Dialog ist das Lauschen in die Welt des Anderen hinein besonders wichtig. Daher, in meinen Aktivitäten ist es essentiell, der Materie zu horchen, um sie dann später beim Akt des Malens nicht zu übertönen, ihr die Freiheit zu lassen, ihre eigene Melodie zu spielen. Nicht einfach, in unserer lauten Zeit, wo das Hören überhaupt kaum möglich ist und daher besonders kostbar. Also auch wenn die Gegebenheiten es nicht leicht machen, kommt dabei oft ein Quäntchen Sinn zum Vorschein – und das nicht nur von subjektiver Art, wie ich hoffe. Ob es so tatsächlich ist… Die Zeit wird zeigen.

Ich versuche immer den Raum der Beziehungen zwischen den diversen Elementen der Realität zu ergründen, zu greifen. Mich interessiert nicht das Aussehen oder die erkennbare Abbildung der Dinge, die jeder kennt. Mich interessieren die Eigenschaften, Relationen, Querverweise und Kräfte, die die Welt – ihre Ordnung und Harmonie – zusammenhalten. Wir spüren ihr Wirken, doch nicht die visuelle Gestalt; sie leben in der Abstraktion. Unsichtbar und „zwischen den Dingen“ – sie sind die Matrix und das Bindemittel allen Seins und bewegen sich irgendwo in den Ebenen der Idee, der Schönheit, der Harmonie, der Ordnung, des Sinnes. Es sind Begrifflichkeiten, daher ist eine Sprache des Abstrakten, die Einzige die ihrem Wesen entspricht.

The shape of silence.

Silence has a specific shape,
a form you can see and feel.
A value of harmony.

Black and white form the desert, where spirituality grows. They set the poles for reality to happen. We are touching the essence. Austerity and excellence. Don´t let anybody teach you what is black and what is white. Go on the mental journey yourself.

What I do is essentially an attempt for a constructive dialogue with material. With such an assumption I can not treat it as a regular image builder. In a way, it becomes a partner and even co-author of the statement. As in every dialogue – it is especially important to listen to what the other is saying; … and therefore for my actions it is important to apply ear to the material, to listen to the matter, not let it drown, thus it can play its melody … Unfortunately it is not easy, because we live in quite loud times and silence becomes a deficit, and consequently a costly and luxurious state. For me, however, it is a necessary state. Although the circumstances do not make this dialogue easier, sometimes a new sense appears – not only the individual and subjective one, as I hope … Is it really like that? – I don’t know. Time will verify, but before this happens everyone can try to find the mentioned “seed”, seeking the effort of that dialogue with these images …

With my artistic activity I try to deepen the area of relations and co-relations between different elements of reality. I’m not interested in the visual, the recognizable equivalent of elements of reality that everyone knows and can easily recognize. The subject of my artistic work is the area of elementary features, dependencies, forces that affect the arranged reality and harmony in the world. We feel the effects of their influence, but they have no unequivocal visual form. They are not visible, they are “between things”, they are the invisible bond of our reality, referring to the category of ideas, beauty, harmony, order, meaning, and are therefore concepts, hence the abstract form of visual expression seems in my opinion like the most appropriate tool to describe them.
