It´s all about very serious matters…

“Photography in the sense of: the camera focus on the motive – pushing – finished, that can certainly be good, but it is too little and too simple for me. Taking photographies which tell stories, I like that more!” The banal things of everyday life are photographed and juxtaposed to the objects and objects of the high culture, it is exciting which new perspectives result from it. Here, the photographed objects are digitally liberated from their surroundings and re-constructed into socially contemporary stories. Placing simple objects in the context of historical photographs gives a new ironic or satirical picture.

Die Lage ist ernst…

“Photografieren im Sinne von: die Kamera draufhalten – abdrücken – fertig, das kann sicher gut sein, es ist mir allerdings zu wenig und zu einfach. Die Dinge fotografieren, die Menschen machen und damit Bildgeschichten erzählen, das gefällt mir schon besser!” Die banalen Dinge des Alltags fotografieren und sie den Dingen und Objekten der Hochkultur gegenüberstellen, – es ist spannend welche neuen Sichtweisen sich daraus ergeben. Hier werden die fotografierten Gegenstände digital aus ihrem Umfeld freigestellt und zu, gesellschaftlich aktuellen, Geschichten neu konstruiert. Einfache Gegenstände in den Kontext von historischen Fotografien bringen, ergibt ein neues ironisches oder auch satirisches Bild.
